When I setup this hub called My Cute Critters it was suppose to serve as a online place for people to discuss and showcase their pets/critters or the animals they love.  While reviewing the different channels, I've noticed a number of abandoned and commercial accounts on this hub and it's time to do a purge of them next month: February.

The following accounts/channels are in good standing with this hub according to the current policies:

Mary, thanks for setting up this hub! I love the idea of the fediverse and have played around with hosting a mastadon in the past and am now looking forward to seeing how hubzilla feels. I hope you enjoy my profile pic -it is my cat BB.

@L Murphy Tried to reply to your comment on your profile but wasn't unable cause your settings not setup to do so. I did have a similar issue when I tried to install Hubzilla on MyCuteCritters.com. Let me know if you can see this.

Hi Mary. Ive been looking at multiple decentralized network platforms and I'm checking back on Hubzilla today. I gave up trying to install hubzilla on my hosting service.

I like Matrix but it mainly emphasizes what are essentially chatrooms. I like when software automatically sorts conversatins into threads and shows them that way visually. Mastodon, Pleroma, etc don't even have the notion of rooms. There's the whole fediverse conversation, and the conversation on the local node aka instance. It's massive chaos.

Friendica. It seems like it could be, should be, the solution. But i find the user interface so bizarre. It's like whoever designed it had never done anything like it before. There are many features I like, I think. But working out how to use them, well that's another story.

So im coming back to hubzilla to see if it's any better.
