@L Murphy Tried to reply to your comment on your profile but wasn't unable cause your settings not setup to do so. I did have a similar issue when I tried to install Hubzilla on MyCuteCritters.com. Let me know if you can see this.

Hi Mary. Ive been looking at multiple decentralized network platforms and I'm checking back on Hubzilla today. I gave up trying to install hubzilla on my hosting service.

I like Matrix but it mainly emphasizes what are essentially chatrooms. I like when software automatically sorts conversatins into threads and shows them that way visually. Mastodon, Pleroma, etc don't even have the notion of rooms. There's the whole fediverse conversation, and the conversation on the local node aka instance. It's massive chaos.

Friendica. It seems like it could be, should be, the solution. But i find the user interface so bizarre. It's like whoever designed it had never done anything like it before. There are many features I like, I think. But working out how to use them, well that's another story.

So im coming back to hubzilla to see if it's any better.
